Q: Is LED grow light proved effective? I have heard LED growing produces poor results, is that true?
A: Nothing could be further from the truth! Unfortunately some LED grow lights products on the markets are not good quality and have not enough intensity of light, many people have taken this to believe that LED just can’t grow plants very well. The truth is NASA is using LEDs to grow plants in space right now with great success! And according to test and feedback from our clients, LED grow lights really work.
Q: Why LED grow light is RED and BLUE, not white?
A: Light color depends on LED characteristic and plant characteristic, such as Photosynthetically Active Radiation.
Q: What is Photosynthetically Active Radiation?
A: The photosynthesis reaction that makes plants grow reacts to only certain light wavelengths (colors). This is exactly what PAR light is (Photosynthetically Active Radiation). This means that if you buy a traditional white light, you will be giving your plants lots of extra light that it can't even use! That's a huge waste of energy!
Q: LED cost more than Traditional HID lights?
